To Jimmy, or not to Jimmy Choo?

So, now that your shoe closets are all cleaned up for the upcoming season let’s take a look at what designers are offering.

I will focus on all types of brands, expensive and inexpensive as well because we don’t need to wear thousand $ footwear to look fabulous. For today let’s focus on one of the shoe Gods: the one and only Jimmy Choo!

In their F/w 2019 collection we see the return of the square tip both for shoes and for boots in some very interesting croc leather patterns. This feel like a comeback from ages long forgotten, but I must admit I am very tempted to try one of these , they look so chic!

Fortunately, the beloved pointy tip is not forgotten, but it gets reinterpreted in sexy shades of velvet with even the classic Romy pump getting a remake in lizard printed velvet 🙂

And now coming to the all known boot, we have some very interesting models that are being proposed by the Jimmy Choo designers:

The snake skin, cowboy-ish knee-high:

… the classic Mahesa featuring a gold JC logo:

…..the modern, party trance like boot ( great to wear with a very mini skirt or some very long trousers):

and ,last but certainly not least, my top two favorites:

The embroidered velvet boots which I highly recommend these be worn in the office or at events taking place inside as they will not likely resist the elements due to the delicate and oh so beautiful embroidery

The knee high Mavis 85 in croc embossed dark green & cuoio leather, a very comfortable office choice:
